Throat tuberculosis, throat cancer, and human papillomavirus (HPV) are to spread at a dizzying speed as oral sex has become a common aspect among people, researchers reveal.
Sexual gratification of a couple may involve practicing fellatio, cunnilingus, or analingus, as part of foreplay before sexual intercourse: however, it could be lethal if one or both partners are infected by a sexually transmitted disease (STD).
Latest statistics from the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are beyond belief:
“Every year approximately 17,600 women and 9,300 men are affected by cancers and genital warts caused by HPV.”
The aforementioned figures only look at the number of people who sought care for genital warts; this statistic could be an underestimation of the actual number of people who get genital warts worldwide.
Human papillomavirus (HPV) has been ranked top of the list of STDs as the most common infection, followed by chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, herpes, hepatitis B, HIV and trichomoniasis.
Shockingly, oral sex can actually cause throat cancer, new research reveals, after film star Michael Douglas –Basic Instinct and Fatal Attraction– blames HPV for his cancer diagnosis in August 2010.
There were recently 1.8 million tuberculosis (TB)-related deaths worldwide. TB is a leading killer of people who are HIV infected.
Human papilloma virus (HPV) is the name for a group of viruses that affect your skin and the moist membranes lining your body. Examples of this include your cervix, anus, mouth and throat.
One does not need to have lots of sexual partners to get an infection.
No one wishes to walk out of a health clinic having been told they have an incurable STD.
