American trade tariffs are endangering decades of breakthroughs in the global food industry as sky rocking food prices is pushing billions below the bread line.

Trade war is believed to be one of the deadliest of them all. The most vulnerable of the world population: children, pregnant women, the elderly, lower and average income families have been brutally hit as their house baskets have vigorously declined.

Latest statistics on World hunger, published on March the 11th 2025 by The Global Hunger Index sends shivers down our spine:

  • “The world produces enough food to feed all of its 8 billion people, yet 733 million people (1 in 11) go hungry every day.

  • Half of all child deaths are linked to malnutrition.

  • 9 million people die from hunger-related causes every year.

  • Hunger rates in Africa are especially high, with 1 out of 5 people going hungry each day.

  • 8 billion people around the world (35% of the global population) cannot afford a healthy diet.

  • That percentage is even higher in low-income countries, where 71.5% of people cannot afford a healthy diet.

  • According to the 2024 Global Hunger Index, hunger levels in 36 countries are ranked as Serious.

Global Hunger Index (GHI) gives us both a snapshot of current world hunger facts and figures, as well as a look at where we have (and have not) made progress, and what needs to change to get us closer to ensuring food security for all.

According to Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of The United Nations statistics:

“Each day, 25,000 people, including more than 10,000 children, die from hunger and related causes. Some 854 million people worldwide are estimated to be undernourished, and high food prices may drive another 100 million into poverty and hunger.”

Market chaos is triggering and engineering man-made shortages: goods from agriculture, are to face additional customs duties due to the high tariffs.

Farmers, who are the backbone of the world economy will struggle to afford the cost of Agri-Business supplies

such as: machinery, baler, mowers, hay rakes… let alone the seeds, food, fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides and other farming products.

The difference between being able to eat or not to eat, to survive, or to die will be a very thin line.

US Official’s balance sheet in the Oval Office in brief, since President Donal J. Trump’s re-election on January the 25th 2025 at the White House.

As soon as he joined the Executive Office for the second time as the President of the United States, from the West Wing of the White House in Washington D.C, Mr Trump started methodically and gradually his program to dismantle human rights via a set of new laws he was prompt to implement.

Increasing by so doing the already existent severe gap between the poor and the ultra-rich. Creating by so doing a never-ending generational manufactured poverty.

And what if the 90 days pause of unorthodox counter – tariffs is being used by Mr Trump as a “Trojan Horse”? A subterfuge in trade war strategy.

And what if the 90 days pause of unorthodox counter – tariffs is being used by Mr Trump as a “Trojan Horse”?

A subterfuge in trade war strategy: that provides plenty of time to the wealthiest worldwide to purchase and stock enough food and goods at their convenience.

Just 3 months to metaphorically, like a rattlesnake strike back with more extensive, gigantic complex trade deals that will bleed the lower class of the world population dry.

These crashes cause a spectrum clash as whilst the wealthy will just stock up the goods as if we were in times of dire critical warfare, the poor on the other hand -powerless, will scavenge and die of starvation and hunger.

In Greek mythology, the Trojan Horse was a wooden horse said to have been used by the Greeks as a fake reconciliation gift to celebrate the end of the war during the Trojan War to enter the city of Troy and win the war.

The future outlook of the Pyramid of Global Wealth Distribution forecast that “By 2027, global wealth is estimated to reach $629 trillion.”

Mr Trump’s war on universities

Last summer, President Trump said: “I will fire the radical left accreditors that have allowed our colleges to become dominated by Marxist maniacs and lunatics.”.

Nurturing as a result of that, an extreme dependency culture due to the gradual degradation of society. His new laws put the ban on diversity initiatives, cutting of all universities funding and government aid.

By targeting international students, and dismantling the accreditation system, he caused an educational crash and mass migration.

Ambitious parents, and students, stripped of their freedom and right to education were forced to move from America to several other countries to carry on with their degrees and professional courses or research programs.

Mr Trump’s war on healthcare

Following University cuts, President Trump has frozen all foreign assistance: all healthcare aid plans have been stopped and frozen whether it be for AIDS, cancer and several others.

Hence causing a medical crash and crisis as people are no longer able to access healthcare in America (unless they are wealthy).

President Trump’s administration has cancelled funding for an ongoing 30-year, nationwide study tracking patients with prediabetes and diabetes.

Researchers said that this could have dire consequences due to the intrinsic link between the decline in health care due to their officials having emphasised their ambition to curb the decline of such chronic conditions surging.

President Trump’s administration has cancelled a myriad of grants to study how to prevent new HIV infections and expand access to care, killing progress towards eliminating the epidemic in the United States and by ricochet worldwide – scientists say.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is reported to have terminated more than 145 grants related to researching advancements in HIV.

Termination of more than 145 grants will wipe out decades of progress towards eliminating epidemics – scientists say. The list goes on.

Mr Trump’s war on food supply chains – a catalyst that nurtures the final conflict of extreme hunger

After the decline in both education and healthcare, to finish off any chance of mankind savouring one last glimmer of hope to survive, Mr Trump’s administration has now torn that away due to the tariffs imposed economically on import and export products.

Therefore, the socio-political reliance, hypocrisy and dependency culture surfaces as society falls back on the same government people voted and criticised.

Is Mankind doomed to fail despite medical, technology and social sciences breakthroughs? How much have we learnt from past experience misfortunes?

The most alarming with human society regarding the power hierarchy or dynamic is that:

Once someone has the upper hand and bleeds the lower class dry, the lower class will do anything for a piece of bread.

And doing anything then leads to disruption and thus the integration of all sorts of crimes surface as a survival instinct within society and economic evolution.

This will cause revolution and rioting. Maintaining tyranny in power will continuously create a cycle of dependency until an irreversible mistake will result in wiping out that society as in erase it from earth.

When people are hungry, it awakens the monster and the beast in them. Even Emile Zola’ soul will be shocked beyond the grave. He depicted this in his famous novel Germinal centuries ago!

Extreme hunger and misery are knocking at people’s doors.

If a handful of good hearted ultra-rich humans, such as: those who have not shut down their humanity,  some Non-Governmental Organisations, Officials or governments, decisions makers worldwide….

If collectively they do not act swiftly with effective laws, aids and budgets to alleviate human hunger worldwide, history will inevitably and unfortunately repeat itself and we will live in our 21st century era, the misery depicted by Emile Zola in his powerful novel Germinal (1885).

Germinal takes its name from a spring month in the French Republican Calendar.

Throughout Germinal, (the 13th novel, was ranked as the best in Zola’s 20-volume Les Rougon-Macquart series Novels).

Zola uses the metaphor of spring and growth to show a different kind of political engagement.

He portrays greed and altruism, bravery and ambition, the cost of love, justice, and the tragedy of human suffering.

Zola’s masterpiece was in regards to exposing the inhuman conditions of miners in France in the 1860s. An era of rapid industrialisation and growing class tensions between wealthy mine owners and impoverished workers.

The novel follows a young worker who joins a mining community and successfully leads a strike against pay cuts.

Despite his unfortunate failure in the end, his belief in struggling for a better world remains unbreakable.

Poverty in Germinal is present in human relationships; everyone exploits everyone else namely through Emil Zola’s choice of character portrayals throughout the novel.

Maigrat (the grocery shop owner) forces women to bring him their daughters if they want him to give them free food to pay later.

Jeanlin continuously bullies, ill-treats and exploits Lydie and Bébert by never giving them a fair share, after forcing them to do silly things and commit petty thefts for him.

As a human, starving your kind to death, enslaving people who are ready to do anything for a loaf of bread and a beverage… to escape hunger to get wealthier, is not noble. It does not make you richer: It rather impoverishes and deprives your soul, stripping you of natural augustness which all humans should be inclined to practice.

Below are a few MUST HAVE superfoods to boost your immune system in order to survive the hunger crisis that awaits us and has already creeped its way into societies households.

All humans are different: with different genes, different skin colours and tones, different blood lines, different age ranges, different bone structures, different blood types, different health history board cards, different Body Mass Indexes (BMI) hence why our DNA. There is as much DNA as humans exist.

Reliance on Superfoods to tackle hunger, prevent and fight infections and strengthen our immune system is of paramount importance as President Trump’s war on global health care raises concern.

Pulling the US out of the World Health Organization, raises questions about the UN agency’s ability to fight diseases and respond to emergencies worldwide without the United Stated of America who are its biggest funder.

According to The Medical Online Dictionary, the Human Immune System is “A complex network of cells, tissues, organs, proteins and the substances they make that, help the body fight infections and other diseases, whilst protecting the body’s own cells.

The immune system includes white blood cells and organs and tissues of the lymph system, such as the thymus, spleen, tonsils, lymph nodes, lymph vessels, and bone marrow […] The immune system keeps a record of every germ (microbe) it has ever defeated so it can recognise and destroy the microbe quickly if it enters the body again.”

The Medical Online Dictionary also describes superfood in these words:

“The term “superfood” is a fairly new term referring to foods that offer maximum nutritional benefits for minimal calories.

They are packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. No standard criteria or legal definitions classify any food as a superfood at this time. However, most superfoods are plant-based.”

As previously published in several of our successful articles and books: Mother Nature is the most talented artist of them all.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A (retinol, retinoic acid) is a nutrient vital to vision, growth, cell division, reproduction and immunity. Vitamin A also has antioxidant properties.

“Antioxidant” is a broad term for any compound able to prevent unstable molecule known as free radicals that damage DNA, cell membranes and other parts of cells.

No wonder bread and butter has always been mentioned as an essential survival meal: hence the phrase: “it is my bread and butter”.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is also known as the sunshine vitamin. This is because vitamin D is made by the body in response to sun exposure.

Vitamin D is a nutrient needed by our body, along with calcium, to build and keep bones healthy.

The human body can only absorb calcium if it has enough vitamin D.

Calcium is a major part of bones. Vitamin D also has many other uses in the body. It supports immune health and helps keep muscles and brain cells working.

Vitamin D is needed for normal bone growth. It is also needed for healing bones after a fracture.

Calcium is the major component of the bone (more than 99%), and provides the skeleton, strength and structure, making the bone a metabolic reservoir to maintain the intra- and extra-cellular calcium pool.

    Dear ALL,

This season, in response to the global financial markets chaos that is unfolding live, The Bridge Magazine explores the health benefits of the MUST have daily superfoods in order to tackle famine, boost our immune system and survive the hunger game as global food insecurity spirals. Extreme hunger and misery are knocking at people’s doors.

The hunger crisis that awaits us has already creeped its way into societies households.

The difference between being able to eat or not to eat, to survive, or to die will be a very thin line.

If a handful of good hearted ultra-rich humans, such as: those who have not shut down their humanity, some Non-Governmental Organisations, Officials or governments, decisions makers worldwide, if collectively they do not act swiftly with effective laws, aids and budgets to alleviate human hunger worldwide, history will inevitably and unfortunately repeat itself and we will live in our 21st century era, the misery depicted by Emile Zola in his powerful novel Germinal (1885).

    Dear ALL,

Hunger Game! The world is experiencing a commercial war: American Officials escalate trade tariffs, threatening billions to starve to death by famine. Are the world leaders playing Russian roulette with humans’ lives? In response to the global financial markets chaos that is unfolding live, The Bridge Magazine explores the health benefits of the MUST have daily superfoods in order to tackle famine, boost our immune system and survive the hunger game as global food insecurity spirals.

American trade tariffs are endangering decades of breakthroughs in the global food industry as sky rocking food prices is pushing billions below the bread line. Farmers, who are the backbone of the world economy will struggle to afford the cost of Agri-Business supplies

Trade war is believed to be one of the deadliest of them all. The most vulnerable of the world population: children, pregnant women, the elderly, lower and average income families have been brutally hit as their house baskets have vigorously declined.

According to Oxfam, “World’s top 1% own more wealth than 95% of humanity and
the top 1% own 43% of all global financial assets.”

    Kind Regards,
