Londres est mieux connue comme la ville  ayant la plus grande diversité ethnique dans le monde. Ce n’est plus donc  un élément de surprise d’annoncer que le   jeune rappeur camerounais  se produit  à Londres.

Jordan Tchakounté, alias Tchakdollar King, devient un phénomène mondial depuis que les ventes de son dernier album crève le plafond.

M. Ekambi Louis Brillant l’avait une fois prédit en comparant  le talent du jeune  rappeur à du « Diamant brut ».   Pour aller au bout de la métaphore,  c’était pour insinuer qu’avec le  travail et de la discipline Tchakounté  prendrait professionnellement ses marques.

 

M. Ekambi est musicien d’origine camerounaise.  A l’âge de 23 ans il  devient  célèbre après avoir  été lauréat au concours télévisé  de musique lancé par l’Office de Radiodiffusion Télévision Française (ORTF) en 1971.

 

 D’autres ténors de la musique tels que M.  Manu Dibango, le feu  M. Francis Bebey pour ne citer que ceux-là,   étaient candidats au  concours susmentionné.

 

 

Le 7 Juin 2016, Jordan Tchakounté du groupe musical  Njoka Gang   se confie  à The Bridge Magazine en ces termes:

 

 

« J’en ai rêvé, Londres l’a fait; me produire en spectacle devant  le public britannique est une consécration »
